I don't have a 3D printer. Can I order a complete camera or camera kit?
At this time only the STL file package is available. We do this so that if you build a camera, you can 3D print your own replacement parts if you break something or wear it out. Many of your friends may have a 3D printer that you can take advantage of. Ask a friend!
Where can I get the STL files?
The STL files can be obtained using the "Get STL Files" link at the bottom of the page or by visiting https://github.com/MP120TC/Version1_2022
Why are there both 6x7 and 6x9 files?
The camera was designed by default to be used with 6x7 film backs, but is capable of doing 6x9 if you wish. If you want 6x9, all you need to do is print the 6x9 parts instead of the default 6x7 parts and order a 6x9 ground glass. The 6x9 files are included.
What comes in the STL file package?
The STL file package will contain the following:
1. All STL files needed, for both 6x7 and 6x9 options, including the recessed lens board.
2. An extensive Google Docs Assembly Guide document.
3. A Google Spreadsheet listing the parts you need to print, how long it will possibly take, and how much filament will be used. This spreadsheet also lists the parts you will need to buy and where you can get them.
